Top 5 Cryptocurrency Apps Performance in Hungary for Q2 2022

During the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps in Hungary demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH saw its weekly downloads decline steadily from 3.3K at the beginning of April to approximately 1.2K by the end of June. Weekly active users also showed a downward trend, starting at around 24.5K and dropping to about 15.9K by the end of the quarter.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto had a more stable performance in terms of weekly downloads, hovering around 1.4K to 1.6K for most of the quarter, with a slight dip to 868 by the last week of June. Weekly active users peaked at 42.2K in early May, then gradually decreased to approximately 29.4K by the end of June.

MetaMask - Blockchain Wallet experienced a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting at 828 and ending at 266. The app's weekly active users showed minor fluctuations, maintaining an average of around 7K throughout the quarter, with a slight decrease to 6.3K by the last week of June.

Socios.com - Wallet & Tokens had a dramatic increase in weekly downloads, spiking to 2.5K in early June from negligible numbers in April. However, the downloads dropped sharply to 141 by the end of June. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, rising from 304 in late March to a peak of 4.1K in mid-June, before settling at 2.9K by the end of the quarter.

Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether displayed stability in weekly downloads, maintaining an average of around 400 for most of the quarter, with a slight dip to 252 by the end of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 8K, with a small decrease to 7.7K by the last week of June.
